The battery life on JOAN meeting room management devices is pretty exceptional due to the great combination of a large battery, e-ink / ePaper display and low power Wi-Fi but there is alway a way to get better battery life.
One way of making sure you get the best possible time between recharges is to use the Office Hours feature in the JOAN portal.
The Set Office Hours Feature can be found from the main page in the JOAN Portal.
Once set, your JOAN devices will be active during the hours set and will then go to sleep outside of those hours, greatly increasing your battery life.
For those with offices across multiple timezones, the locations feature lets you set office hours on a per site / location basis, giving you the maximum flexibility of managing your devices settings.
